Robert W. Engle

Mr. Engle is an accomplished senior level global supply chain and operation professional. Mr. Engle has managed both domestic and international manufacturing operations and distribution centers within the food, chemical and electronic industries.

Currently Mr. Engle is the President of Schoeller Arca Systems Inc. a global plastic company. Prior to Schoeller Arca, Robert was the Chief Operating Officer of Eurofresh Farms, the worlds largest greenhouse. Before that he held the position of Vice President of Supply Chain for one of the worlds leading supplier of fruits and vegetables, Dole Foods (DFV). Mr. Engle was also the North American Director of Supply Chain for a 1.5 billion dollar German candy manufacturer called Storck. Other roles include V.P of Operations for a Chicago based cold storage and distribution center, Director of Materials for a 80 million lighting company and a Director of Operations for a 75 million adhesive company and Director of Materials for a 250 million meat company.

Over his 20 year career, Mr. Engle has worked on several consulting engagements including the design and construction of one of China’s first cold storage and meat cutting facilities modeled after an FDA facility. Mr. Engle has also owned and operated several successful businesses including a food brokerage operation, restaurants and several multi-million dollar internet companies.

Mr. Engle holds a Masters of Business and Bachelors of Science degree from Davenport University.

Mr. Engle sits on several committees for the AFDO, an FDA advisory panel. He has held several board and advisory positions for both profit and non-profit organizations. Mr. Engle has been a guest speaker for such organizations as Nasstrac and LDS Computer Company. Mr. Engle participates in many industry organizations including APICS, Warehouse Education and Research Council (WERC), and Council of Logistic Management (CLM). Mr. Engle also Won Logistics Magazines 2007 Shipper of the year.
